Play the video and check that the captions appear correctly. If you need to add another caption file, just repeat the process. In the Insert Captions dialog box, browse to your caption file.
On the Playback tab, click the Insert Captions button, and then select Insert Captions. Select the video on the slide, right-click on the video, and select Upgrade Media Object. In PowerPoint, in the Normal view, open the slide that has the video that you want to add captions to. For instructions on how to create the caption file, see Create closed captions for a video. Search or create a WebVTT caption file for your video. Closed captions also make your presentation accessible to larger audience, including people with hearing or learning disabilities and those who speak languages other than the one in your video. The audio information in video and animations can be better understood with the help of closed captions.
